Don’t Even Joke

Actresses Adele (in her 50s), Hester (in her 60s) and Jax (in her 70s) decide that time has come to throw off the shackles of a fickle industry – no longer to be dependent for work on misogynist employers or be victims of an unfair system. They retreat to Italy to craft a theatrical vehicle for themselves, only for an earthquake to rattle the town, bury half the inhabitants and shake every certainty they had. Out of this destruction, can something creative emerge?
